VW Beetle Owners Club AGM

The Volkswagen Beetle Owners' Club held its 24th/25th AGM recently at the Marco Polo Room of the Excel World, Colombo.

Outgoing President of the club Peter Jasinghe, who was re-elected as President, referred to four events that were planned and finalised but was cancelled due to the first and second lockdown and went on to convey his gratitude to the outgoing committee that supported the activities of club, according to a club media release.

The out-going committee was reappointed for another year. They are: Patron - Kapila Jayawardena; President - Peter Jasinghe; Vice Presidents - Ruwan Punchihewa and Ruwan Weerawardana; Hony Secretary - Amanda Gooneratne; Asst. Secretary - Jaliya Jayasekera; Treasurer - Lasath Pathirennehe; Webmaster - Shehan Samarasinghe; Auditor – H.K. Amerasinghe; and Executive Committee - David Janzse,

Kumar Samarasinghe, Ms. Mahika Chandrasena and Duminda Bandara.
