Drummer Graeme Edge passes away
Graeme Edge, the drummer of the rhythm & blues rock band the Moody Blues passed away on November 11 in England aged 80. He was one of the original members of the Moody Blues when it was formed in 1964. The band had one No: 1 song in the UK - their first release ‘Go Now’. Two of their most famous hits which are almost iconic tracks are ‘Nights In White Satin’ from 1972 and ‘ Your Wildest Dreams’ from 1986. The band was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.
Edge announced his retirement shortly thereafter marking the end of the group. He was a poet and songwriter who also co-created the electric drum with Professor Brian Groves in the 70s.
